Metal Gear Solid IV PC port might be closer than we thought

  A data miner has just discovered a possible slice of code teasing MGS:Guns of the Patriots PC port. The code was extracted from the recently released "Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1". Unfortunately, there is no official confirmation that the game will be available in a possible "Vol 2." release, but one could argue that there are no reasons to have multiple code references of a game that is not planned for release.

  The Metal Gear community has been pressuring Konami to release a MGS 4 port for years. Currently, the game is only available on the original PS3 hardware or via RPCS 3 emulation. The game was released more than a decade ago, and fans still cannot appreciate Kojima's masterpiece on modern hardware.

  If the leaks prove to be truthful, we can all expect a similar low-effort port for sure. But it's still better than buying a PS3 in 2023 right?
